Dr. K. Sivarajan, M.A., M.Ed., Ph.D., is Dean, Faculty of Education; Chairman, Board of Studies in Education (PG); and Chief Co-ordinator of University Teacher Education Centers, University of Calicut. He is a retired Professor of University of Calicut. He has 32 years teaching experience, out of these 12 years as Principal, University College of Teacher Education. Formerly he was Syndicate Member of Sree Sankaracharya Sanskrit University, Kaladi. He has written 27 books on education and most of these books are reference books for B.Ed. and M.Ed. courses of the Universities in Kerala. He is a recipient of Best Teacher Educator Award 2009 instituted by the Indian Counsel for Teacher Education and Dr. Ambedkar Fellowship 1997 instituted by Bharatiya Dalit Sahitya Academy.
