The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) is continuously striving hard for imparting and achieving quality in Teacher-Education. As a sequel to these developments, a National Curricular Framework (NCF) for Teacher Education (2009) has been developed by the NCTE for adoption by all Indian Universities in the country. This book of "Methods of Teaching Biological Science" has been written according to the latest B.Ed. Model Curriculum with effect from 2013-14. This book consists of ten units, with each unit covering the content of namely definitions, examples, illustrations and so on, extensively. This book provides complete information about the meaning and structure of science, and also provides contributions from scientific institutions. It also enables the student-teachers to acquire knowledge, values, objectives, framing the Curricular and also to adopt the methods and techniques to be used in "Methods of Teaching Biological Science". It also deals with the discussions of the Biological Science laboratories, and teaching learning material and also resources & evaluation.
