Soft/Paper BoundISBN: 9781636400082Subject(s): Education, National Education PolicyDDC classification: 379.54 Summary: Since January 2015, when the consultation process was initiated for the formulation of New Education Policy (NEP), the NEP has engaged educationists, politicians and other stakeholders in pondering over its vision, mission, aims and objectives. Some stakeholders are quite vocal and get their point-of-view publicized, while quite some are usually silent and reluctant to share their view points in the public domain. We are delighted that stakeholders, not only from all the corners of the country, but also from an Indian in South Africa, shared their `reflections’. We are thankful to our contributors, who despite the time constraints, could take out time to respond to our open call. With due respect to the `high profiles’ of some of our valuable contributors, in the true academic spirit, their contributions have been placed in the alphabet order of authors’ name, as also the sequence of Editors. Our Special thanks are due to Dr. Pankaj Mittal, Secretary General, Association of Indian Universities (AIU) for giving lead to the compilation. Dr Mittal, the Fulbright Scholar, had served as the first regular Vice Chancellor of Bhagat Phool Singh MahilaVishwavidyalaya, Khanpur, the first rural women university of North India. We also proffer our thanks to Prof. (Dr.) Kuldip Chand Agnihotri, the Vice-Chancellor, Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala for blessing the compilation with a Foreword. Last but not the least, we express our thanks to Ms Navsangeet for taking up this project at a very short notice to publish on September 5, the Teachers Day.Item type | Home library | Collection | Call number | Vol info | Copy number | Status | Notes | Date due | Barcode |
